Friends and neighbors, it has been a long few months since we began this campaign. And while it did not turn out the way we had hoped, I am still thankful. You showed up in so many ways, and while we did not win, I met so many new residents and gained so much perspective in how much you really do love this community.
Now, I would ask that you join me in congratulating Jeff Cheney as our Mayor. In the end, we are all neighbors and it is important that we come back together no matter what sides we were on for the campaign. I do hope that those of you who stepped into local politics for the first time will continue to stay involved, continue to speak your voice, and continue to vote. Frisco is a special place because of you.
A huge thank you to all of my supporters, the volunteers, and my campaign team who worked so hard and have become treasured friends. I would like to give the biggest thanks to my wife Wanda and my daughter Bella for their constant love and support. I love you both.
